Odds and Ends
There are interesting - and sometimes surprising - things to be found in a garden
Berries on a Washington hawthorne tree. They are one of the things that feed the robins who may arrive north with snow still covering the ground.
I found this stone in an area that was inhabited by American Indians at one time. It looks as if it could have been used as a grinding stone.
Just moss on a rock can be interesting, when examined close-up.
Or just a toadstool growing in a shady spot.
A seedling growing from a stump. I spent hours (literally) last fall, chiseling this baby out of the stump and replanting it.
